Break me apart, make me whole

When I met you, you took me through a journey

You made me feel closer to myself,

Even if it only meant that I'm farther away,

from every bittersweet memory.

Before I met you, 

I did not imagine I had the quest of finding myself,

and that it could potentially show how alone I really was, 

But you somehow invited me into a pathway  of self discovery

to discover my inner-darkness.

Unfolding memories from the deepest crease,

Made invisible tears tremble down my face, 

Thoughts scatter around,

Blemishing the good thoughts

Peeling away the flesh of my sanity,

Revealing layers of my anxiety

But why this, Why now?

I have starved myself for this moment

Yet I gift you my delicate sensibility emptying myself 

To you, for you

Bearing my scars wide open

Letting you touch my vulnerabilities 

Yet you made me comfortable,

To trust you, by your openness

To talk to you, by the softness of your voice

And I gave you the ingredients of my construction.

So come break me, brick, by brick, by brick, by brick

pull my every strand of my hair, 

drain every muscle in me

Make me bare

For in breaking all the walls of the past and present,

we can open a new pathway, that leads to possibilities

Merge my future to my present 

and let us breathe as one, 

one body, one soul, one purpose

Let us interlock, intertwine in our own connection

Let us float to an infinity of our desire

piece by piece, 

Build me back up

Make me emerge anew from the magic of your presence

Make me whole by filling me up with who you are
