I miss you

Remember how hard it is for us to say,

"Good-bye," even when it was for just a few hours?

That's what I felt

as you left me behind

I didn't want you to go.

I wished I could change everyday

into a weekend so we could

get away and be together.

I just had to leave a phone message

for you

to let you know

I was thinking of you.

I wanted you to know

how I look forward to you getting home,

to hold you again,          

and to hear you say those words of love

that I love so much.

It may sound a bit corny to say,

but I am the luckiest man alive

to have you as my beloved.

GOD sure knew what He was doing when

He brought you into my life.
